6 Senses International Preschool is a kindergarten educating children from 1 to 6 years old and providing the best quality international education for local communities. Along with the families we‘re raising the future generation – smart, curious, empathetic, tolerant, quick-witted children who are keen on asking questions, explore the world and enjoy learning. Our well-trained teachers get to know well every child, individualise learning, and make each childhood memorable and exciting.
In 6 Senses International Preschool we have two age groups: Lovey Dove Group (children age 1-3.6 years) and mixed age Bug and Cat Group (children age 3.7-6 years).
6 Senses International Preschool works every day from 7.30 am. to 6 pm.* We work year-round except National celebration days, and two academic holidays. More information on exact dates will be provided in the school year calendar.
Our student-teacher ratio is between 5:1 and 9:1 depending on the age of the children and on the needs of the particular group of children. Average class size is 16-18 children.
Children have 4 meals per day: breakfast, mid-day snack, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided by our food caterers (Kidfood) and are prepared fresh every day.
Children bring a mid-day snack from home: we kindly remind you we eat healthy in the preschool, therefore, please make sure there is no unhealthy food and/or sweetened drinks in your child‘s lunchbox.
Anytime when we have free places. The school year at 6 Senses International Preschool starts on the 1st of September, but the families can join us year-round.

Information for parents on reducing the spread of the Covid-19 virus:
- students with signs of infectious disease are not admitted to the Institution;
- it is necessary to inform the Teacher about the reason for the students absence.
- there is an obligation to comply with the conditions for self - isolation, home quarantine and isolation in accordance with Cabinet
Regulation No. 360;
- The learner's parents or legal representatives must immediately inform the Institutions manager, if the learner has been diagnosed with a Covid-19 infection.
If the student shows signs of acute respiratory infectious disease (fever, cough, shortness of breath) while in the Institution, the Institution shall:
- isolate the learner in a separate room and ensure the presence of the same adult who came into contact with the learner before. - communicates with the students parents or legal representatives, who arrive immediately after the student. Parents contact their family doctor by phone;
- the student will be treated according to his / her state of health and will return to the Institution according to the instructions of the doctor.
- If a staff member or trainee is diagnosed with a serious medical condition at the Institution, the Emergency Medical Service is called.
-If signs of acute respiratory infection have been detected in two or more students and a group illness is suspected, the Institution shall act in accordance with the Institution's Infectious Diseases Control Procedure, isolate learners by ensuring adult presence, use face masks and mouth / nose masks parents or legal representatives and ensure the provision of information by telephone to the epidemiologist of the relevant regional division of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (hereinafter - SPKC). General epidemiological safety requirements for compliance with hygiene requirements:
Wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap and water, especially before and after meals, after going to the toilet or after walking outside. Hand wash for at least 40 seconds.
Do not touch the face (eyes, nose and mouth) with unwashed hands!
If it is not possible to wash your hands, disinfect your hands with alcohol-based hand sanitizers!
Remember that touch-sensitive devices, such as telephone surfaces, can be contaminated with viruses and bacteria, so they must be cleaned regularly with alcohol-based disinfectants!
The Preschool organizes the flow of students and visitors in order to prevent the crowding of students and parents in the vicinity of the institution.
The Institution organizes the reception and transfer of students to parents or legal representatives at the entrance of the Institution, inviting them to distance themselves, to wait 2 meters away, if it can be seen that someone is already at the door. We also invite you to leave the area without delay in the outdoor playground.
LATVIAN:
Informācija izglītojamo vecākiem saistībā ar Covid-19 vīrusa izplatības samazināšanu:
-izglītojamie ar infekcijas slimības pazīmēm netiek uzņemti Iestādē;
- pienākums ievērot pašizolācijas, mājas karantīnas un izolācijas nosacījumus saskaņā ar
MK noteikumiem Nr. 360;
- nepieciešams informēt Iestādi par izglītojamā prombūtnes iemeslu.
- Izglītojamā vecākiem vai likumiskajiem pārstāvjiem nekavējoties jāinformē Iestādes
atbildīgā persona, ja izglītojamam konstatēta Covid-19 infekcija.
Ja izglītojamajam, atrodoties Iestādē, parādās akūtas elpceļu infekcijas slimības pazīmes (drudzis, klepus, elpas trūkums), Iestāde:
- izolē izglītojamo atsevišķā telpā, un ja nepieciešams atbilstoši izglītojamā vecumam, nodrošina tā paša pieaugušā, kas kontaktējās ar izglītojamo pirms tam, klātbūtni, Lai novērstu darbinieka inficēšanās risku izglītojamais lieto sejas masku vai deguna un mutes aizsegu, bet darbinieks – medicīnisko sejas masku;
- sazinās ar izglītojamā vecākiem vai likumiskajiem pārstāvjiem, kas nekavējoties ierodas pēc izglītojamā. Vecāki telefoniski kontaktējas ar savu ģimenes ārstu;
- izglītojamais tiks ārstēts atbilstoši veselības stāvoklim un atgriezīsies Iestādē saskaņā ar ārstējošā ārsta norādījumiem.
- Ja darbiniekam vai izglītojamam Iestādē ir konstatēti nopietni veselības traucējumi, tiek izsaukts Neatliekamās medicīniskās palīdzības dienests.
-Ja akūtas elpceļu infekcijas pazīmes konstatētas diviem vai vairāk izglītojamiem un ir radušās aizdomas par grupveida saslimšanu, Iestāde rīkojas atbilstoši Iestādes infekcijas slimību ierobežošanas kārtībai, izolē izglītojamos, nodrošinot pieaugušā klātbūtni, lieto sejas maskas un mutes/deguna aizsegus atsilstoši iepriekš minētajam, sazinās ar izglītojamā vecākiem vai likumiskajiem pārstāvjiem un nodrošina informācijas sniegšanu telefoniski Slimību profilakses un kontroles centra (turpmāk – SPKC) attiecīgās reģionālās nodaļas epidemiologam. Vispārējās epidemioloģiskās drošības prasības par higiēnas prasību ievērošanu:
Bieži un rūpīgi jāmazgā rokas ar ūdeni un ziepēm, īpaši pirms un pēc ēšanas, pēc tualetes apmeklējuma vai pēc pastaigas ārā. Roku mazgāšanu jāveic vismaz 40 sekundes.
Nepieskaries sejai (acīm, degunam un mutei) ar nemazgātām rokām!
Ja nav iespējams nomazgāt rokas, dezinficē rokas ar spirtu saturošiem roku dezinfekcijas līdzekļiem!
Atceries, ka skārienjutīgās ierīces, piemēram, telefonu virsmas, var būt piesārņotas ar vīrusiem un baktērijām, tādēļ nepieciešams tās regulāri tīrīt, izmantojot spirtu saturošus dezinfekcijas līdzekļus!
Iestāde organizē izglītojamo un apmeklētāju plūsmu, lai novērstu izglītojamo un vecāku drūzmēšanos Iestādes apkārtnē.
Iestāde organizē izglītojamo pieņemšanu un nodošanu vecākiem vai likumiskajiem pārstāvjiem pie Iestādes ieejas, aicinot distancēties, uzgaidīt 2 metru attālumā, ja redzams, ka pie durvīm jau kāds patlaban ir. Tāpat aicinām atstāt teritoriju, neuzkavējoties āra rotaļu laukumā.
